Hard times present more opportunities for spammers—they're capitalizing on economic fears to promote various financial spam offers. Symantec also has identified a new fraud attack targeting Microsoft POP3 users, leading them to a hacking web site by claiming that they have a POP3 setting problem to confirm their account data.
